Celebrate You is a a tourism employee focused event that has been specifically designed to foster a sense of community and camaraderie within the tourism industry. This event brings together professionals from various sectors of the tourism industry, in a relaxed and social setting.

The main objective of “Celebrate You” is to provide recognition and appreciation to the hardworking individuals who contribute to the success of the tourism industry. The event creates an environment where industry talent can connect, share experiences, build meaningful relationships and be provided with opportunities for professional development.

By nurturing these connections, “Celebrate You” helps to promote collaboration, innovation, and mutual support within the tourism industry, ultimately contributing to the retention of skilled talent and the continued growth and success of the industry as a whole.

Celebrate YOU is a 100% employee oriented event with values based criteria. Its purpose is to encourage continued professional development and positive connections whilst bringing industry together for a night of fun and celebration.

The evening is an opportunity for industry leaders, educators and suppliers to come together and support the employees of the tourism industry.

1. How many people can I nominate?

There is no limit to the number of times you can recognise someone.

2. Does it cost to nominate?

Nomination is free, and all elements of the form must be completed in detail for the nomination to be valid, including the extra detail for certain categories.

3. Who determines the short-list and winners?

The judging is conducted by our Tourism Employee Ambassadors who are a panel of independent professionals. All decisions are final. No sponsors are included in the judging.

4. What is Team UP 4 Tourism?

Team UP 4 Tourism is a grass roots initiative for the industry that provides mentoring opportunities with senior leaders.

5. What is a REWARD point worth?

1 REWARD point = $1 AUD

Reward points are issued to winners courtesy of our REWARD partner to facilitate upskilling and professional development opportunities.

REWARD points are valid for 12-months.

6. How can a delegate ticket help?

Your support as a delegate contributes towards allowing the short-listed VIPs attend the evening. Support your fellow tourism employees, make connections and be in the draw for some great prizes.

7. Corporate Tables

Your support allows the short-listed VIPs attend the evening complimentary.

Corporate tables also receive 200 REWARD points they can use as a credit towards selected professional development courses offered by the Australian Revenue Management Association. REWARD points can be allocated as they determine across their employees or clients.

8. Who gets to attend?

Each year a short-list is identified as our VIP nominees. The VIP nominees are invited to attend the evening complimentary thanks to the support of our partners.

9. What are REWARD points?

Winners receive REWARD points they can use towards continued professional development courses offered by the Australian Revenue Management Association.

REWARD points are valid for 12-months.

Yes. As long as they are used within the 12-month time period you can contact us to gift them to someone else. Their purpose is to encourage industry professional development so you can use your points for those who will benefit the most.

13. When do nominations close?

Nominations must close by COB – April 14 2024.

The short-list of VIP nominees will be notified via email or phone and announced across social platforms.

Note: Due to limited capacity on The Jackson and high demand in entries only the short-list of VIP nominees at the discretion of the event organisor receives a complimentary ticket to attend.

A selection of discounted tickets are available for guests of our VIP nominees, however, this is on a first come first served basis and while tickets last. This ticket type is called VIP FRIEND on the booking site.

Note: The short list is not all entry nominees and the judges can allocate a different type of award based on the entry criteria if they deem it appropriate for the candidate.
